Resume
With over 25 years experience in environmental policy, strategy, audit and assessment my role has combined high-level technical and business responsibilities within the UK and Overseas. Strategic projects include provision of policy, strategy and implementation of environmental management systems for clients to ensure compliance and enhance their environmental image and awareness. Other experience has included major multi-disciplinary projects for national governments and multinational private clients. Included in these studies have been major audits relating to due-diligence, divestment, waste minimisation, environmental risk and assessment in the UK, Middle East and Eastern Europe.
Within Dalkia, the Graham Consulting Group and Welsh Water, I directed the Environmental Management section. The groups provided consultancy services to Government Departments, international clients and a large number of UK based companies requiring environmental management, assessment or legislative compliance.
At Metocean Consultancy, I was involved with providing project management and technical advice to water industry clients, with regard to waste water disposal schemes, water quality objectives and major environmental surveys. I also supervised the acquisition and interpretation of specific data and information to support planning of design of offshore structures and marine operations for the offshore oil and gas industry. Earlier as Senior Environmental Scientist at Britoil Plc, I undertook numerous studies for planning, design and operational requirements specialising in environmental management and monitoring schemes, licence application for operating areas, and assessment and spill contingency plans both on and offshore.
